The scope easily rotates and flips into an upward and seats magnetically when retracted. The pen clip: Represents the carry handle and peep sight of the rifle. The blank was measured and drilled before inserting a brass tube. It was then trued on each end before being placed on my Rikon midi-lathe for the shaping using various chisels. When the desired shape was achieved I then took it through a multi-stage sanding process finishing with nine steps of micro-mesh, followed by a three step polishing with White Diamond Polish resulting in a glass like finish.
