Handmade Titanium & Rhodium Cambridge Fountain pen in Dyed Red Box Elder Burl
Unique, Custom Hand Made Writing Instruments created by a Master Woodturner. This is a gorgeous Titanium and Rhodium trim Cambridge Fountain pen with lots of really nice bling without being gaudy.
Its got Titanium and Rhodium plating with lots of nice shine. It is really a nice high end kit that of course comes with a really nice premium. Or if a rollerball pen is preferred I can switch it over to. Schmidt ceramic rollerball ink refill. For only 5 bucks less and it would also come with an ink well pump and a disposable ink cartridge as well. And with either option this pen writes like a dream. This one is listed as a fountain. But no worries if a rollerball. Is wanted instead of a fountain just let me know at check out and I will convert it as needed. The Material in this pen is from Dyed red Box Elder Burl with lots of figure that i dyed and stabilized and then turned into this one of a kind beauty that is just simply beautiful when paired up with this kit. The Box Elder burl with its all natural textures and grain and eyes just work perfectly with colorful dye and is a very unique media and hard to come by with figure like this. I do love this wood and when paired with this kit its simply amazing. This one of kind treasure with its glassy smooth finish that has been sanded and polished by hand with 12000 grit micro mesh to a high luster and then it gets 12 layers of CA finish and is followed by a wet polishing process and then 2 layers of the worlds best, albeit very expensive but awesome friction wax.This is truly one of kind and pictures do not do this pen justice. This is quite a process and these pens are not for everybody so I have only made a few of these in this kit but I really do like them and this pen's new owner will surely turn heads with this one.. I only make 1 or 2 pens a day and each and every one is handcraft by me in my shop.

I will happily make a custom pen of just about any kind and from just about any wood or just about any material you could choose and because of my low volume I can get to it pretty quickly. I do not use and duplication tool so each pen is a 1 of kind original. I hand pick from over 30 species of gorgeous wood from all over the world for its grain, spalt, burl, and just unique characteristics. The pen started out in my shop as a rough piece of wood which goes through a many step process to produce a one of a kind working piece of art. Every pen that I make is different in shape, color and pattern. The pens are made from a solid piece of wood with the grain oriented to match between the two barrels of the pen.It was turned by hand on my lathe in my small shop by me. Quality and painstakingly made and have a really nice heft and feel and are a real pleasure to write with and the make excellent gifts but be advised that once you get one of these in your hands you wont want to part with it.
