This is the true and natural color of the wood. This pen features black and gold plating on clip, nib and band, and a threaded barrel finial for cap attachment. Pink Ivory trees are native to Southern Africa. Its exotic wood is considered by many to be one of the rarest woods in the World. It has a very fine straight grain and the colors range from light brown pink to bright pink. Pink Ivory was once considered the royal tree of the Zulus in South Africa and reserved only for royal family members. The fine texture and Pink tones turn this pen into an elegant piece. This pen is the first and only of its series, making it a unique handcrafted piece. No Filters are used on any of my photos.
