Fountain Pen Eisuke Sakai Handmade Lacquered 14k Kamakura Bori Wood Carving Red. Handmade fountain pens by the last fountain pen craftsman in Japan.
This fountain pen was made by Eisuke Sakai, who is famous as a master craftsman of handmade fountain pens in the Showa period. It is a very rare fountain pen.We filled the pen with ink and tried writing with it. There is no leakage of ink from the barrel and there is no problem to use. The nib is engraved with "WARRANTED", "585", "14KARAT", "PEN", and "IRIDOSUMIN". Pen nib: 585 (14k gold).
Turn the neck and remove it. Fill the body with ink up to the seventh part using a dropper or the like. When using, turn the butt screw about a quarter of the way. When not in use, be sure to tighten the screw to prevent the ink from drying out. There are small scuffs on the exterior.
The clip also has some minor scuffs and scratches. The inside has been lightly washed, so there may be some ink stains.
