Luxury hand made Fountain Pen & Rollerball combination set (Alpha). Presented in British Elm burr with a burst of blue coloured acrylic resin at the end. Featuring beautifully decorated chrome fittings and clip, with embossed detailing to the cap and centre band. A truly delightful and unique pen.. Hand Crafted in a Derbyshire workshop by a time served wood turning craftsman.
Each pen is idividually unique and made with the utmost care and attention to detail. The hand poured acrylic resin has a wonderful sheen to it, with swirling patterns of blue - even two blanks from the same batch will have unique patterns within the wood and resin.. It really makes for a wonderful gift for all pen lovers and writing fans. Hand turned, sanded and polished to produce a beautiful lustre, then finished with a hard wearing melamine lacquer to preserve the shine and natural feel of the wood for years to come.
With wood being an organic material though, there may be some natural blemishes within the woods used. Comes with a superb German made Schmidt ceramic rollerball of the highest quality and a German made Iridium tipped medium fountain pen nib. Supplied with a standard disposable ink cartridge and screw type cartridge for ink bottles. The pen is fitted as standard with the rollerball, to use as a fountain pen, simply unscrew the nib end, remove the rollerball cartridge and spring and replace with the fountain pen nib and ink cartridge of your choice. Presented with a black velvet drawstring pouch to make the perfect gift.
