Fountain pen, hand made in Aluminium and brass, with diamond wheel chasing
I make these pens as hobby and they take up to a week to make and finish. This one is made Aluminium and brass and has been painstakingly chased by a diamond wheel so that it shines when turned in hand. I have coated it with Protectaclear so that the shine and finish should last a long time.
It has a world renowned gold plated large Bock nib with an Ink converter and a gold plated clip with a hand shaped piece of genuine amber on it. It writes beautifully and is a joy to hold and use. The nib unit is a push fit.
I recommend use of bottled ink although it can take cartridges. The rear end of the barrel can be unscrewed to adjust inkflow from a converter. It is truly a collectors item. There is space on the barrel for name to etched on.This pen would be marvellous for a married couple to sign their name on the wedding register. The cost of the pen reflects the high cost of materials. These pens are not made from a kit. This pen is 14.0 cm. Long and weighs approximately 60 grammes.
It feels great in the hand. It will be posted in a beautiful presentation box.
